Questions people ask before calling
How do I know it's time to replace?
Over 10–15 years old, frequent repairs, rising energy bills, or a repair costing half the price of a new unit are the classic signs.
What size system do I need?
Bigger isn't better — an oversized unit short-cycles and wastes energy. A proper load calculation is the right way to size it.
Should I get multiple quotes?
Yes — get at least two or three. Compare equipment, warranty length, and labor warranty, not just price.
What happens to the old unit?
Reputable installers haul it away and handle refrigerant recovery. Confirm it's included in the quote.
